About DigFinder

Dig opportunities are scattered across university pages, society bulletins, Facebook groups and national lists, some of them not in English. DigFinder pulls them into one place you can filter.

Sources include the AIA Archaeological Fieldwork Opportunities Bulletin, ASOR's annual fieldwork list, the French Ministry of Culture's volunteer dig list (translated), and project websites. Every listing links to its source and shows when it was last checked. Anything we couldn't verify is marked "unknown" rather than guessed.
